Launch of Newman Calendar 2015 - ORDER HERE!
The official 2015 Calendar of the "Friends of the Cause for the Canonization of John Henry Cardinal Newman" has been launched at The Oratory, Birmingham, by Auxiliary Bishop of Birmingham Robert Byrne and Friends Chairman Father Douglas Lamb
At the launch, Father Douglas Lamb said, “This is the third of the calendars we’ve produced. The first one was of various 
portraits and photographs of Newman during the course of his life. Last year’s was of places associated with him, and this year it’s friends and family – people from his own family circle, but also people from his Oxford days and his brother Oratorians when he came here.”
“It’s a remarkable record really of 19th Century manners, photographs, attitudes really, and it’s a very very good kaleidoscope of a nineteenth century seen through Newman’s eyes.”
