Ordinariate Missal to be used for first time in Wolverhampton
A special Mass is to take place to celebrate the publication of the new Altar Missal for the Ordinariate.
To mark its publication, the new Altar Missal will be used at a Sung Mass in the Ordinariate Rite on Sunday 20th December.
The Ordinariate's Eucharistic Liturgy, which had initially circulated privately, was approved in May this year as an authentic part of the Roman Rite.
Father John Lungley said, "Visitors who would like to be present will be very welcome to the Holy Mass which will take place at 12 Noon."
Pope Benedict created the Ordinariate nearly five years ago to allow Anglicans to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church whilst retaining much of their heritage and traditions.
The address of the Church is: Our Lady of Perpetual Succour RC Church, Cannock Road, Wolverhampton WV10 8PG.
