New Polish Parish for West Bromwich

Palm Sunday was an extra-special day for the Polish Community in West Bromwich.
The Rector of the Polish Catholic Mission in England & Wales Monsignor Stefan came up from London to install Ksiądz (Father) Prałat Maraszkiewicz as Priest-in-charge of the Community.

In an exclusive interview following the Holy Mass, Monsignor Wylezek said,“I want to wish all the best for Eastertime and the Easter Feast for Archbishop Longley and for all the parishioners from this Diocese.”
“I would like to thank him very much for the installation of the new Priest-in-charge in West Bromwich, Walsall and also in Lichfield.”
“We are so, so grateful for him taking care about the needs of the Polish people who want to pray and express their Faith in their traditional language and piety.”
“So please receive our sentiments of esteem and I wish all the best for the Diocese and also for all of us. We are here as members of this Archdiocese, the Polish people belonging to him as our Pastor. God Bless you!”
